the pritzker award, organized by the ucla institute of the environment and sustainability, aims to recognize an environmental leader, under the age of 40, who is on the verge of making lasting change in the field of environmental sustainability. for the second year, professor rebeca méndez participated as part of the jury of this annual award that provides support by uncovering young innovators and boosting their careers as champions for the environment.
